Peter Wright claimed his second World Series crown this past weekend including seeing off Michael van Gerwen on the way as he added the Melbourne Darts Masters to his collection.
In the final Wright defeated Michael Smith in a thrilling encounter between two players who were very evenly matched.
The Scotsman though came out on top to claim the title. In the process he became the fifth winner in as many events this year on the World Series.
