In the build up to the cross-code event including the best from not only the PDC and the BDO, PDC posted a throwback to a 9-darter hit at the Wolves Civic back in 2014. It was during his 16-10 win over the World Number One Michael van Gerwen who himself will be after the golden nine after it was hit in Hasselt only 2 weeks ago by Kyle Anderson. Will we see a 9-darter this year?? Time will tell but this effort below shows it can be done at the Wolves Civic.

- Maybe the supposed top players are burnt out from the endless travelling and tournaments, I just don't think they have the dedication or outright desire to win. I think they are more interested in the money and being popular, just keeping their rankings steady. The only thing that mattered to Phil Taylor was winning, not winning a few games to top up the money pot and seeking the fans attention. Maybe there is too many tournaments now and the enthusiasm is gone. This year especially has seen so many different winners and unexpected draws and line ups.richieburnettrocks14-11-2024
