Wade withdraws from midweek Pro Tour double-header, Van Gerwen also misses second event

Further withdrawals have occurred ahead of the first Players Championship midweek double header of the season starting tomorrow.
Originally, Michael Van Gerwen only pulled out of one of the two events but has now pulled out of both Tuesday and Wednesday.
James Wade has also pulled out of both events despite ‘The Machine’ being in brilliant form on the Pro Tour in particular.
Rob Cross has now also withdrawn from the first event in the series as well as Jose de Sousa withdrawing from both.
