Williams had to come from behind to defeat his opponent Roger Janssen but he sealed the deal after making it 2-2.
The Welshman will know that he will have to play better to go further in the tournament.
Reynolds in the final game didn’t play up to his potential but he saw off Daniel Day in a 3-1 win with him going 2-0 up before losing a set and then claiming the win.
He took his chances when it mattered and that was the main difference between the pair but like Williams, he’ll have to play better to go far.
