As the year draws to a close and the big stack of tournaments comes up thick and fast, the race to the World Championship is currently in the forefront of every darts' fans mind and on both sides of the rankings there are still parts to be undecided.
Terry Jenkins is on the edge of not being involved at potentially his last ever
PDC event as he is 30th in the world with tentative money added which depending on how other players do could see the Bull knocked out of contention.
Gary Anderson and Peter Wright are in a battle in terms of who will be number 2 and with Peter Wright definitely at the European Championship in a few months compared to Anderson who isn't a big run in one of those events could see 'Snakebite' be second seed.
Rob Cross looks to be definately confirmed for his first ever World Championships in his first year with Richard North & Peter Jacques all close with all 3 being standouts on the Pro Tour this season. There also could be a debut as a Pro Tour qualifier for Zoran Lerchbacher who has previously had to qualify through other means while Steve Lennon and Kevin Painter are in the last two spots.
Krzysztof Ratajski could also be at Ally Pally with the Polish Eagle qualifying for 11/12 Euro Tour events and having a European Championship debut as a result of some good runs in return and if he is definately at Q-School in January, he could be a major threat next year.
