Adams tops Online Darts League Group C after opening day

Martin Adams is the leader in Group C during Champions Week in the Online Darts Live League. 

'Wolfie' won four of his five matches in the first series of games on Thursday.

The three-time Lakeside champion defeated Joe Davis (4-3), Greg Ritchie (4-0), Richie Burnett (4-2) and Jarred Cole (4-2). Adams only lost to Scott Marsh (4-2), but Marsh in turn lost to Ritchie (4-3) and Davis (4-0).

The players of this group play against each other on Thursday and Friday afternoons. The numbers one, two and three of this group then go to the final group on Saturday. James Richardson was the first player to qualify for the final group on Wednesday.

In the evening sessions, Chas Barstow, Jamie Clark, Shaun McDonald, Colin Osborne and Conan Whitehead will play each other twice in a group. From the evening group, three players go to the final group and from the morning group two, so that the final group consists of six players.

Unlike the first edition of the MODUS League in 2020, the game will not be played online via a webcam connection, but at a location in Southampton, England. The matches can be followed via the Online Darts YouTube channel .
