Wright on process in picking outfits: "We have to come up with 48 designs for a whole year"

Peter Wright is known for his colourful persona and outfits on stage and with fans likely returning fully at the World Matchplay, he discussed the potential of new outfits being debuted at the Winter Gardens.

Wright discussed the process in picking the outfits with how many need to get picked a year in the latest episode of the Darts Show podcast.

"The contract we have with Loudmouth, that's no longer so we've been trying to source trousers for a few years. We've just found a company they've just sent a pair through the other day but we have to come up with 48 designs for a whole year," said Wright to The Darts Show podcast.

"Lots of darts players have only got one or two shirts, I'm all about colour but I've got all the colours you can have normally with my design and everything. That gives the public to pick and choose what their favourite colour is, it might not be plain black or green or yellow."

"We're given the range of choices. We'll have something. It's got to be colourful."
