Baker and Osborne advance to Week Eight final MODUS Online Live League

Scott Baker and Colin Osborne qualified for the final group of Week Eight in the MODUS Online Live League on Friday.

Both players had already started the group on Thursday with four victories and shared the lead.

Baker eventually managed to keep the lead himself by winning all his five games on Friday against Ryan Hogarth (4-1), Osborne (4-3), Paul Holloway (4-0), Andy Jenkins (4-0) and Josh McCarthy (4-3).

Osborne only had two victories on Friday and that was only just enough to keep McCarthy behind.

Both players finished on twelve points in this group, but the leg difference was in Ozzy 's favour by one leg.

In the evening sessions, Robert Owen, Wayne Warren, James Richardson, Chas Barstow and Stephen Burton play against each other twice.

Also in this group there are two places available for Saturday. Arron Monk already managed to qualify for this final group by winning the first group of this week.

Unlike the first edition of the MODUS League in 2020, the game will not be played online via a webcam connection, but at a location in Southampton, England. The matches can be followed via the Online Darts YouTube channel .
