Hankey withdraws from 2022 World Seniors Darts Championship

Ted Hankey has withdrawn from the 2022 World Seniors Darts Championship which is due to take place at the legendary Circus Tavern between February 3-6 2022.

Hankey was due to be one of the star names involved in the tournament but informed the tournament organisers of his decision to withdraw.

A former two time World Champion winning it in 2000 and 2009, he joined the star studded line-up which also includes Phil Taylor, John Lowe, Bob Anderson, John Part, Martin Adams with 11 World Champions from both PDC and BDO codes alongside a further 11 invited players.

Hankey's replacement will be announced in due course.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. I was so excited and could not wait to watch Ted play in the seniors. Hope all is well with Teddy and if it’s health related, I hope and wish Ted well. This is always your territory Ted and I’ll be on my way Really gutted !
