Osborne new weekly winner in MODUS Super Series

Colin Osborne became the fourth weekly winner in the new season of the MODUS Super Series on Saturday night in Portsmouth.

The best six players from the first five days of play met Saturday divided into two groups during the final day of this week of play.

Osborne was first assigned to Group A with Gavin Carlin and Darryl Pilgrim. The latter won both group matches, while Osborne won the decider with Carlin to advance to the knockout stage as number two.

In Group B, Jelle Klaasen, Arron Monk and Conan Whitehead all won one match. Based on leg balance, Klaasen and Monk advanced to the semifinals.

Monk then beat Pilgrim 4-2 in the first semifinal, while Osborne was too strong for Klaasen 4-3. Osborne then took the weekly title by beating Monk 4-1 in the final.
