Graham Usher won the seventh week tournament of the
MODUS Super Series last week . The 49-year-old could hardly believe it himself afterwards. He defeated David Pallett 4-1 in the final.
"I knew I was in good form, I think I played well over the night. You want it but you don't expect it, there's some good players in there. I'm blown away, I'm absolutely buzzing," said Usher.
Having a small crowd in on finals night including his family, it added that bit extra to the game of 'The Gambler'.
"The kids loved it. It's just nice to have that bit of background noise, people cheering. It's great."
With the £20,000 on offer for Champions Week, Usher said it could be life changing and offers a real opportunity.
"I work for the NHS and that is a years wage for me without question. To have that opportunity when you're not in the PDC, this has opened so many doors.
