While Conor Heneghan hit the first nine-dart finish at the new MODUS Super Series venue, Dave Prins hit an unfortunate alternative nine-darter during Thursday morning's action.
Prins sat on 196 against Steve Haggerty was aiming to get down to a finish but instead only chopped nine off his score.
He hit three treble ones in a row which prompted the response from Chris Mason of 'nine - the hard way'.
