On Monday, the World Grand Prix gets underway in Leicester. Jonny Clayton is the defending champion there, after beating Gerwyn Price in the final last year.
At the World Grand Prix, unlike the other major tournaments, you have to start a leg with a double every time. Darts Orakel, a Twitter account that deals with all kinds of data and statistics has published a fun fact about Clayton. For example, in his four participations in the World Grand Prix, The Ferret has found the double with his first dart in 54.29% of the legs.
Also quite remarkable: last year he started no less than 91 of the 92 legs he threw with double sixteen.
