Martin Adams has claimed a second MODUS Icons of Darts League win in a row after winning in a straight shootout against Boris Koltsov to finalise proceedings on Wednesday.
Adams finished on eight points only losing to Diogo Portela (5-3) in the end who finished second as a result of Koltsov's defeat. In the final match, he hit a 103.17 average, four 180's and 71 percent on his doubles to finish in style in a 5-3 victory.
His other victories saw him defeat Jose Justicia (5-2), Jarred Cole (5-1) and Mark Dudbridge (5-0) with Portela who led at the halfway stage having a parallel run but missing out on leg difference in the end.
It shows the form of 'Wolfie' who has done similar to a few weeks ago when he took two wins in a row albeit after also playing in the MODUS Champions Series; but at the age of 64, he continues to show his top game is still very much there.
There will be 15 games a day which will be best of 7 legs with two Pools set to be involved as usual. It begins everyday as a result at 10:30 am running till 5:00 pm and sees live action continue.
The scores are recorded during matches via a webcam with this then uploaded to various scoring services and bookmakers who are all showing the action. The livestream is provided by organiser MODUS .
