Anderson and Michael Smith withdraw from Czech Darts Open

Both Michael Smith and Gary Anderson will not be present in Prague for the 2023 Czech Darts Open after withdrawing.

According to an official announcement made by the PDC, "from the original field, Michael Smith and Gary Anderson have withdrawn for personal reasons."

The replacements for the pair of World Champions have also been announced with both Rowby-John Rodriguez and Callan Rydz being given a late reprieve after initially failing to qualify for the event.

Rydz will face off against Kim Huybrechts with a second round tie against Martin Schindler on the line whilst Rodriguez will be up against Stefan Bellmont for a chance to play Dimitri Van den Bergh.
