For many players starting out in darts, throwing a 180 takes a lot of time or is sometimes an impossible feat. For Gary Anderson though it was a different story.

Talk has swelled around for a while that Anderson managed to hit a 180 score with his first three darts ever.
Speaking to Darts World, 'The Flying Scotsman' revealed that this was the truth and that he hit two 180's and a 140 with his first three visits to the the board. “Yes that’s true. It came very very easy," he revealed.
This seemingly natural talent has earned him many titles including two World titles in 2015 and 2016. In 2018, he also won a number of major tournaments including victories at the UK Open and World Matchplay.
Anderson though in 2019 suffered with an injury which kept him sidelined and despite making a return this year it was curtailed due to Coronavirus but despite that, he is glad to be spending more time with his family.
"I said at the start of the year all I wanted to do was to get my throw back to how it used to be, and I think there were signs that I was getting closer," he said to the PDC.
"I was away much more than I have been over the last 18 months or so, and I found myself getting back into the week-in week-out routine.
"I've spent half my life away from home playing darts so having this time to spend at home with family is brilliant for me, albeit not in the best circumstances.
"Anyone who knows me knows I'm happiest at home, and spending time with my kids is the most important thing in the world to me."
