Anderson rises to second on Players Championship Order of Merit; hot on heels of leader Van Duijvenbode

Gary Anderson has moved up to second place on the Players Championship Order of Merit after winning Players Championship 24. 'The Flying Scotsman' won his second title of the season Friday night by defeating Ryan Joyce in the final.
Anderson had also lost two finals earlier this year and stands at 59,750 pounds after 24 Players Championship tournaments. That puts him in second place behind Dirk van Duijvenbode (62,250 pounds).

Behind Anderson is Gerwyn Price in third place with 57,250 pounds, followed by Luke Humphries and Damon Heta with both 56,500 pounds. Dave Chisnall is the next on the list in sixth place with 52,750 pounds.
Looking down the list for some of the big names, Michael Smith sits 25th with £28,750, Michael van Gerwen just behind him in 30th with £27,250 whilst the both Nathan Aspinall and Peter sit outside the top 64 in 86th and 89th respectively.
After all the Players Championship tournaments, the top 64 ranked players will compete in the Players Championship Finals. This tournament from Nov. 24 to 26 will be played in Minehead.
