Ashton on rivalry with Sherrock: "You always want to be pushed and know what gears you've got"

Lisa Ashton was the standout name alongside Fallon Sherrock during the latest PDC Women's Series with their rivalry being a hot topic.

Ashton spoke to Tungsten Tales about a myriad of topics including their rivalry which 'The Lancashire Rose' only sees as a good thing for her own game.

"Me and Fallon we always have good games. The way we're both playing, we're pushing each other both higher. We've raised our standard and that's what we're doing. Other ladies are coming in too because we're pushing them more but we know me and Fallon we're going to push each other and they're always going to be good battles and whoever wins it, it's always 50/50," said Ashton to Tungsten Tales.

"You don't want to be there on your own all the time, You always want to be pushed, you always want to know what gears you've got. Fallon's pushing me and I'm pushing her so we know we can push each other. It's nice to have somebody who can do that with you."
