Lisa Ashton has taken on step closer to claiming a Grand Slam of Darts spot by seeing off Fallon Sherrock in another final between the two leading lights on the PDC Women's Series.

Ashton saw off Sherrock 5-3 with a 93 average with 'The Lancashire Rose' coming from 3-2 down to claim it.
After missed darts from Sherrock, Ashton went into a 4-3 lead before pinning double 20 with Sherrock sitting on 41.
The Milton Keynes ace after sharing the titles with Ashton throughout the opening weekend followed on from her Event Six win to conclude the last lot of events by easing past Mikuru Suzuki with a 103 average in the first final of the day.
But her run is now over and it seems likely that Ashton will join her at least at the Grand Slam of Darts with a return to Alexandra Palace also likely.
