Sherrock and Ashton secure Ally Pally return

Fallon Sherrock and Lisa Ashton have finally secured their spot for the PDC World Darts Championship. With three tournaments left on the PDC Women's Series, the two ladies can't be caught up anymore.

For Sherrock it will be her second appearance in Alexandra Palace, after she made history during the 2020 edition with victories over Ted Evetts (3-2) and Mensur Suljovic (3-1). She became the first woman ever to win a match at the PDC World Darts Championship, earning her the nickname Queen of the Palace. Sherrock eventually lost to Chris Dobey (4-2) in the third round.

Ashton has already competed twice at the PDC World Darts Championship. During the 2019 edition, the four-time ladies world champion lost in the first round to Jan Dekker (3-1). Last year she was beaten by Adam Hunt in the first round after a set-decider.
