Stephen Bunting is successfully through to the Last 16 at the 2020 PDC World Championship where he will take on Michael van Gerwen in a game which is one to look forward to in the second half of the tournament.
Bunting spoke after
easing past Jonny Clayton; he admitted that his plan was to begin well against 'The Ferret' and he did so achieving the win as a result.
He added that he can now enjoy the festive period and prepare accordingly; knowing he will be back at the Alexandra Palace for the second half of the tournament.
"It was my game plan to start well and stay on top; that is how it turned out," said Bunting.
"I felt like I played really well; I can enjoy Christmas now and prepare for the next game."
