Chisnall produces strong display to down Gilding, Soutar dumps out Cullen in Riesa

Dave Chisnall has qualified for the last 16 at the International Darts Open at the expense of Andrew Gilding. With 6/7 on the doubles, 'Chizzy' missed only one dart at double throughout the match.
With finishes from 68 and 101, Chisnall quickly got ahead by a break. With a 100 check-out and an 11-darter he then ran out to 5-2, before 'Chizzy' neatly finished off with an 82 check-out.
Alan Soutar was responsible for Joe Cullen's elimination in the second round. The key point was the fifth leg, in which Cullen missed four chances to take a 3-2 lead. Soutar then did make it 3-2 and eventually won 6-2.
