Clayton-Lewis and Schindler-Beaton among Quarter-Finals as fire alarm farce disrupts Players Championship 20

The first day of action in this lot of Players Championship tournaments saw a random person walk into the streaming booth during the final but in the 20th tournament, it is a faulty fire alarm which is providing the distractions.
It proved thus for Damon Heta as Martin Schindler reeled off six consecutive legs from 4-0 down to defeat 'The Heat' who couldn't handle the faulty fire and lost 6-4.
While Jonny Clayton found the madhouse in a decider to see off Michael Smith 6-4, he will now play Adrian Lewis in the Quarter-Finals. For Schindler, it's Steve Beaton who saw off Andrew Gilding.
In the top tie, it's wide open with Luke Humphries and Kevin Doets falling to Krzysztof Kciuk and Boris Koltsov with the winner to face Beaton or Schindler. While the other tie in the same section as Clayton and Lewis sees Jermaine Wattimena face Nathan Aspinall.
