Clayton looks ahead to World Grand Prix: "All the pressure is on the first dart not the last"

Jonny Clayton heads into this year's World Grand Prix having emerged as one of the darting elite with his Premier League and Masters triumph.

Clayton discussed the format ahead of the tournament run up as he looks to improve on a best of a second round last year when the tournament heads to Leicester.

"It's tricky. It's a good tournament because it's different, my point of view is all the pressure is on the first dart not the last. You need to start with a double to get going, like you say it's very tricky," said Clayton to BoyleSports.

"I just have my own way of practicing doubles to be honest. I don't practice for this tournament, I just do my own thing on my doubles. The only thing is that we start and finish (on the doubles)."
