The PDC Summer Series is hotly anticipated next week with a return to darting action in the form of five Players Championship events but for Rob Cross, he sees a practical problem to being in the so called 'bubble'.
Upon arrival in Milton Keynes, all players are required to undergo a COVID-19 test prior to the PDC
Summer Series and then isolate for 12 hours in the hotel to await their results: "The only thing that bothers me is having to go without a fag for 12 hours! Maybe it's a chance to think about giving up," said Cross to SunSport.
"We have to wait in isolation in our hotel room for up to 12 hours. That will be a bit weird. Usually we sit together at big tables.
Now we need to stick to our separate practice bubble and do our own thing. I don't mind being a loner. I just can't wait to get back to work."
