Cross richest number two ever on PDC Order of Merit

Rob Cross claimed victory at the World Matchplay with victory over Michael Smith last night in Blackpool and as a result strengthened his grip on the number two spot in the Order of Merit.

Cross has now won more ranking money at £937,250 than any World Number Two in history and more than any player in history barring of course Phil Taylor and Michael van Gerwen.

This shows the amount of money that is on offer in darts at the moment with Cross now having won both of the biggest titles in darts in the form of World Championship and World Matchplay during the rolling two year cycle.
