Cullen produces statement display on World Series debut with 108 average, Van den Bergh also safely through at Queensland Darts Masters

The opening ties at the Queensland Darts Masters are complete with Dimitri van den Bergh and Joe Cullen safely through with the latter in particular impressing against Dave Marland on his World Series of Darts debut.

Van den Bergh opened proceedings off by seeing off Koha Kokiri, the Perth based Kiwi in a 6-2 win. He breezed into a 3-0 lead to start proceedings before Kokiri hit back with two quick legs to ask the question of the two time World Series winner in 2022.

But 'The Dreammaker' answered' with three legs on the spin to book his place in the final day.

While for Cullen, he made light work of Marland and showed why he was picked for this trio of tournaments in a whitewash win.

He produced a 108.65 average and hit six 180's en route. This featured a 10-darter on his way to a 3-0 lead with a 102 checkout seeing him edge closer to the finish before sealing it with a 65 checkout. A real statement from the Rockstar.
