The Czech Republic had a tough time of it in the first round of the World Cup of Darts in terms of luck. Despite an average of 103.47, Karel Sedlacek and Adam Gawlas lost 5-2 against Krzysztof Ratajski and Krzysztof Kciuk from Poland.
The defeat did set a record though as never before has a country produced a 100+ average and lost in the first round of the World Cup of Darts.
Spain (Cristo Reyes and Toni Alcinas) held the old record, averaging 95.68 in their 5-4 defeat to England (Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis) during the first round of the 2016 edition.

🥈104.97🇵🇱 (2021) 🥉103.47🇨🇿 (2021) Czech with the highest losing average in round 1 ever! #WorldCupofDarts
