As well as Rob Cross joining an exclusive club which only included Paul Nicholson in terms of not being picked, Jose de Sousa is out on his own by not being included the following year.
This is due to 'The Special One' becoming the first finalist not to be picked after reaching the final.
Last time, Nathan Aspinall was included alongside Glen Durrant as the two finalists but De Sousa with the field decreasing is not involved.
He joins Cross, Dimitri van den Bergh, Nathan Aspinall and Glen Durrant in not returning after last year.
