It was revealed last week that the Asian Qualifying spots for the 2020 PDC World Championship would be filled by four knockouts and Di Zhuang is the first to come through in the PDC Asia China Qualifier held on Sunday in Xiamen City.
Zhuang was part of the lineup for the World Cup of Darts but unfortunately late travel problems saw the Chinese pairing unable to take part.
He defeated a very familiar face in Wenge Xie in the final 3-0 in sets in a 3-2, 3-1, 3-1 victory. His opponent of course made his name for his celebration of a 140 at the 2016 World Cup of Darts against Adrian Lewis.
He joins Chengan Liu who won through the Chinese PDC World Championship Qualifier last month.
