Brendan Dolan, Nathan Rafferty and Daryl Gurney have set a great milestone with their good performances at the European Darts Grand Prix.
For the first time in the history of the European Tour, which was founded in 2012, there were three Northern Irish in the last sixteen of a Euro Tour tournament.
Daryl Gurney reached the third round after a win over Eddie Lovely, before losing to Rowby-John Rodriguez in the last sixteen. Nathan Rafferty also reached that round. He beat Dragutin Horvat and Dirk van Duijvenbode, but then went down against Danny Noppert. Brendan Dolan even made it to the quarter finals by beating Danny Jansen and Andrew Gilding. After that Luke Humphries was too strong.
