Durrant looking to conclude final darting dream: "I'm the only BDO player who doesn't call himself a World Champion"

Glen Durrant admits that he has one darting dream left to accomplish and that is to become PDC World Darts Champion.

Durrant is of course a three time BDO World Champion but admits that he doesn't see himself as one fully fledged until he achieves his PDC dream.

"The World's last year was really special. Ally Pally. I dreamt of playing there. It was absolutely everything I hoped it would be and I had a great run to the Quarter-Finals so lots of happy memories," said Durrant.

"If you'd have asked me the day after the Premier League finals, I'd tell you that I'm here to win it but I'm in a real slump. But I'm a winner, I'm a champion and I don't go to competitions without thinking I can win it and I still think there's one darting chapter left in my career."

"I think I'm the only BDO player who doesn't call himself a World Champion. As far as I'm concerned, I'm a proud three-time Lakeside Champion. My one darting dream is to be the PDC World Champion."
