Glen Durrant has been on the look out for his new walk-on tune after joining the PDC due to Adrian Lewis using ‘Papa’s Got a Brand New Pigbag’, also known as ‘Reach Up’.
The former multiple Lakeside Champion is making his debut at the World Matchplay this weekend. He will coincidentally play against Lewis in the draw. Durrant currently changed his walk on song to ‘Roll With It’ by Oasis, but spoke of his hope earlier this week to get rid of it.
He put on Twitter yesterday that after losing in the first round of the ProTour he cannot afford to pay Lewis for the walk-on tune which means so much to him.
As a result, he said that he will use Agadoo by Black Lace. It will be interesting to see which song he does use on the night when he makes his Winter Gardens debut this weekend.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
