Besides the US Darts Masters, the North American Championship will also be played this weekend at Madison Square Garden in New York.
This tournament is on the calendar for the fourth time but the first time in three years. The previous editions were won by Willard Bruguier (2017), Jeff Smith (2018) and Danny Baggish (2019).
The latter two names are also present this year. Also competing in the North American Darts Championship are Matt Campbell, Jules van Dongen, David Cameron, Leonard Gates, Doug Boehm and Danny Lauby Jr.
This tournament will be played on Saturday afternoon (evening in the UK with a 6pm start time) prior to the final session of the US Darts Masters. The winner of the North American event will receive an invitation to participate in the World Darts Championship in December.
