Final curse continues for Cross on European Tour

Rob Cross reached the final of a Euro Tour tournament for the sixth time in his career at the Czech Darts Open last weekend. However, Cross is still waiting for his first Euro Tour title.

Admittedly, Cross was never lucky with his opponent in the final. Four times the Englishman lost a final to Michael van Gerwen, the most successful player of all time on the Euro Tour. Indeed, Van Gerwen won 35 of the 89 Euro Tour tournaments played.

At the 2019 International Darts Open, Cross faced Gerwyn Price and then the win went to 'The Iceman' 8-6. In Prague, Cross got his sixth chance against Luke Humphries. The former world champion came back after a 4-1 deficit to 5-5, but eventually lost 8-5.
