Former Challenge Tour winner Adam Huckvale to retire from darts

Adam Huckvale has decided to hang up his darts, he announced on social media yesterday (Tuesday).

Huckvale, also known as 'Bad Medicine' is a former Challenge Tour winner who has also played at the UK Open three times and on the European Tour but said the love for the sport has now gone and he'd rather spend time with his family.

"I’ve decided that now is a good time in my life to hang up the arrows. I’ve had some fantastic times in darts, winning a PDC event, appearing at European tour events and playing in 3 UK Opens not to mention competing with and beating some of the best players on the tour. I’ll cherish all those memories and the amazing people I’ve met through darts but I just simply don’t enjoy playing anymore. I don’t like being away from my little beautiful family and I don’t think I’m good enough anymore so this is the right thing to do," said Huckvale on Facebook.
