Gerwyn Price halts Luke Humphries, set to face Ryan Joyce in Players Championship 26 Final

Luke Humphries has won all meetings this year with Gerwyn Price until today, with 'Cool Hand Luke' being halted in a repeat of the World Grand Prix final at Players Championship 26.
Price sealed a 7-6 win over Humphries averaging 105.2 and defied a sensational 139 checkout in the penultimate leg from Humphries to hit back with an 11-darter in the decider for a spot in the final.
There he will face Ryan Joyce. 'Relentless' showing his form is into a third ProTour final of the year. He saw off Ritchie Edhouse to reach this point bookending a 105 average with a 7-4 win in a high quality affair with 'Madhouse' himself averaging 101.2.
It could be finally a second title for Joyce, or yet another for Price who will be favourite shortly in Barnsley.
