Hempel still unbeaten after third day of play in PDC Europe Super League

The sixteen remaining players in the PDC Europe Super League began the second stage of the group stage on Wednesday. They have been divided into two groups of eight players, and they will play each other once each on Wednesday and Thursday.

In Group A, Florian Hempel is in the lead. He won all of his seven matches on Wednesday and is still without defeat after three days of play. Lukas Wenig and Rene Eidams follow with five points, followed by Nico Kurz with four points.

Niko Springer is the leader in Group B with six points, followed by Franz Rötzsch (five points) and Daniel Klose (five points). Fourth place in this pool is held by David Schlichting (four points).

The top four players from each group after Thursday will advance to the knockout phase. The quarterfinals, semifinals and finals will take place on Friday.
