Humphries leads highest averages during Players Championship 24

The 24th Players Championship of the year was played in Barnsley on Friday with Luke Humphries leading the way in terms of averages.

Humphries lost 8-3 to Rob Cross in the final. But it was in his 7-3 semifinal against Martin Schindler that he managed to set the highest average of the day with 111.14.

The second highest average was for Mickey Mansell. The 48-year-old Northern Irishman won 6-2 against Kim Huybrechts in the last 64 and achieved an average of 110.58 in that match.

The top three is completed by Steve Beaton. The Bronzed Adonis defeated Martin Lukeman 6-2 in the last 64 for an average of 110.41.
