Humphries moves closer to fourth European Tour title of the season, Bunting recovers to see off Heta

Luke Humphries and Stephen Bunting will face each other in the second semi-final of the European Darts Matchplay. Earlier Rowby-John Rodriguez and Madars Razma qualified for the last four.

Bunting came back from 2-4 down against Damon Heta. Heta missed four chances to make it 5-3, and was then broken back after 'The Bullet' hit double 8.

In the ninth leg Heta also missed four darts. That leg went to Bunting, and he then finished it off with a 104 finish.

While Humphries cruised past Ian White in the last Quarter-Final as his quest for a fourth European Tour title of the season continues.

It will be his third consecutive if he does win with 'Cool Hand Luke' winning Prague, Stuttgart and now with the chance of winning Trier after also sealing Munich earlier this year. He averaged 100 with two maximums and 42% on the doubles in blowing away 'Diamond' 6-1.
