"I played two European Tours last year, didn't win a game in them": Evetts relieved to kick off European Tour with win

Ted Evetts made a good start to the Baltic Sea Darts Open. 'Super Ted' defeated Jeroen Mioch 6-3 in the opening round.

But speaking afterwards, he seemed at odds at his current form and was relieved to get through and qualify for back-to-back European Tours.

"I played two European Tours last year, didn't win a game in them, didn't play well in them, didn't feel like I played there either. Just starting to grind some results out, I'm having to do it on the ProTour and I'm only winning one game a weekend,"

"Qualified for this and the next one which is great, it's nice to get the European Tour campaign off to a start. Slow but a good start so I can't moan."
