Michael Smith averaged 110 in seeing off Jonny Clayton in the final in Manchester as he secured his Premier League Darts play-off spot.
It was also back-to-back night wins for Smith who can now look forward to a trip to the O2 and he was in a confident mood afterwards.
"If I'm in that mood, no-one can touch me. I can literally go 180, 180, 180 every single time and as long as I'm not hitting nine-darters, I'm leaving a double every time.
"I just wish it come more often but that's darts. It doesn't happen all the time as if it did, I'd win every single event."
Last week, Peter Wright spurned his handshake and he said that he has since apologised for it.
"He came and apologised and said someone annoyed him in the crowd but the funny thing was the whole crowd was for him. When he beat me in Holland, I put on Twitter but I deleted it that at least he shook me hand this time.
"I've been there a few times when you get the wet fish, it's darts at the end of the day. But tonight in the practice room, it was all smiles."
