Gabriel Clemens was in superb form as he eased past William O'Connor 3-0 at the PDC
World Darts Championship featuring a superb 132 checkout. He will now face James Wade or Jim Williams.
"I'm really happy, Willie is a fantastic player. He has a lot of experience and it's always hard to play against him," he said to Sky Sports Darts.
"The last weeks I've practiced good and I feel good and I have good play on the European Tour previously."
But now also he will have time with his family over Christmas after previous years spent in quarantine due to COVID-19 rules.
"I think it's head to head (it's even). It's a close game but I'm happy with the 3-0. I fly home, have Christmas with my family. I'm really happy after two years in London in the hotel in quarantine. I'm happy to go home and have a fantastic Christmas."
