Jansen sets aim for PDC World Darts Championship debut: "I especially want to gain experience"

Danny Jansen will make his debut at the PDC World Darts Championship next month. The 20-year-old Dutchman only captured his Tour Card early this year.

Jansen will take on Filipino Pablo Nebrida in the opening round. "I am particularly looking forward to it and am curious how my World Championship debut will go. I especially want to gain experience at Alexandra Palace. I don't know Nebrida at all, I hope to show my best game and then the win should definitely be on the cards," Jansen told Viaplay.

Ratajski

If Jansen wins in the first round, a duel with eighteenth-seeded Pole Krzysztof Ratajski awaits. "But I don't want to think about that right now," Jansen remains level-headed. "All my focus is going to that first match and after that we'll see."
