Jim Williams has won the ranking for the PDC UK Challenge Tour. With this achievement The Quiff receives a PDC Tour Card for the next two seasons and has qualified for the Grand Slam of Darts and the PDC World Darts Championship.
Williams laid the foundations for his ranking win during the first weekend of the Challenge Tour, when he reached two finals. One of those finals he also won. In total the Welshman earned £3950 on the Challenge Tour, just £100 more than number two Shaun McDonald.
It is the first time Williams will be in possession of a PDC Tour Card. The former BDO World Championship finalist made three attempts at the Q-School, but failed to get through each time.
