Mike de Decker flew past Niels Zonneveld 10-4 at the Players Championship Finals to continue his excellent form as of late which saw him become World Grand Prix champion and perhaps become the main threat to Luke Littler and Luke Humphries' excellence.
De Decker though of course had his issue with Littler and in particular the crowd after their Grand Slam of Darts encounter with Kirk Bevins, the referee criticised. 'The Real Deal' hopes for a fairer crack next time when they face off on Sunday.

"I just feel more comfortable. When I'm feeling comfortable, my A game is with the best in the world. I showed it at the World Grand Prix and I'm showing it again now. You could say cloud nine but yeah I'm through to tomorrow and I'm happy," said De Decker to Online Darts.
He said that his whole demeanour on stage is due to the World Grand Prix win and he is starting to feel comfortable in himself and everything that comes with being at the top level.
"Now they're fearing me. Like I said before I'm just feeling more comfortable with these things the interviews, on stage. Life is good. I've been on tour for the last ten years and it's this year that it is finally coming out on stage. The World Grand Prix gave me a boost."
He also preempted being asked about the trophy being in sight saying that he is not looking that far ahead and would be foolish to do so. "It's one game at a time. Like I said a million times before. I'm not looking at the trophy as long as I play well if I win it's a bonus, if I lose the other guy was better. I'm just looking to put up a great performance."
Speaking before Luke Littler was confirmed as his opponent, he gave just one hope for the tie after the issue at the Grand Slam of Darts last week.
"His averages have been 110 for the whole year. We will see. If I play him, I just hope the crowd is going to be fair. That's it."
