Nick Kenny is the latest player through to the second round of the PDC Home Tour after claiming a clean sweep on Night Five.
Kenny saw off
Luke Humphries (5-3),
Joe Murnan (5-2) and
Devon Petersen (5-3) which sealed his spot in the next round after an impressive display from the Welshman who was the lowest ranked player in this
PDC Home Tour group.
The PDC newcomer who was previously WDF Number One will join his fellow Welshman, Jamie Lewis who won through on the first night. Gerwyn Price is the other Welsh player to take part so far but Luke Woodhouse came through his group.
As a result joining Lewis, Woodhouse and now Kenny are Dave Chisnall and Geert Nentjes with five names now sewn up for the second round which will see the field whittled down further after the rest of the league phase is complete.
Luke Humphries and
Devon Petersen came into proceedings tonight as the two favourites but failed to impress and despite previously being involved in Darts at Home tournaments before this, they couldn't use that to their advantage as Kenny made it through.
