Lewis sets up clash with Price, Sedlacek delights home crowd with Clemens win

Adrian Lewis will face Gerwyn Price on Saturday evening at the 2022 Czech Darts Open in Prague after seeing off Ted Evetts 6-3.

Lewis went 4-0 up and survived a spirited comeback from Evetts as he made it 4-3 before a 72 and 81 checkout sealed the deal at 6-3. This featured a 93 average, 60% on the doubles with a highest checkout of 81.

While Karel Sedlacek delighted the home crowd by seeing off Gabriel Clemens 6-3. ‘Evil Charlie’ has been in superb form at times during this years European Tour. He moves through to the second day where he will face Dirk Van Duijvenbode.

Finally Vincent van der Voort eased past Geert Nentjes 6-2 with an 88 average, a sole 180 and 42.9% on the doubles in the Double Dutch duel for tonight’s schedule.
