The first stage of the UK Q-School started on Monday as the players in Group 1A kicked off the 10-day event. The likes of Darryl Fitton, Deta Hedman, Kevin Painter, Fallon Sherrock and Wayne Warren were all beaten early, which led to some surprising winners on the opening day.
