Luke Humphries is the first man through to the final at the Baltic Sea Darts Open. After his quarter-final win over Michael van Gerwen, Danny Noppert has also been beaten by the world champion.
A 114 finish soon gave Humphries a 2-0 lead and through a 14-darter and a 15-darter, among others, the reigning world champion then ran out to a 6-2 lead.
However, Noppert refused to wave the white flag and came back to 6-4 with a 17-darter and a 14-darter. 'The Freeze' was then allowed to start the 11th leg, but missed two chances on the doubles to further reduce the deficit. That cost Noppert the lead, as Humphries then secured his spot in the final match with a 72 finish.
